Note: This topic applies to the following correspondence template libraries: Email, Letter, Label, and Envelope. The Flyer, Presentation and Postcard functions are handled in their own sections.
All templates can be viewed by clicking the [Template_Type] Library action link from the Marketing Library landing screen.
Selecting the link launches the specific Library for the type selected. From the library screen, you can select a category from the drop-down and all templates for that category will be displayed. All personal templates are differentiated from system templates with the following Personal Template icon.
To access a template:
Open the Marketing Library landing screen. How?
Click the library you want to work with: Email Library, Letter Library, Label Library, or the Envelope Library.
From the Show Category drop-down list, select the category containing the template you want to view.
From the Library screen, you can perform the following actions:
View and edit a template by clicking the template's name.
Open multiple templates for viewing and editing by selecting the check boxes beside the templates, and then clicking Mass Open Templates.
Print multiple templates by selecting the check boxes beside the templates and then clicking Mass Print.
Copy a template by clicking the Create Personal Copy icon.
Create a new template (letters and emails) from scratch by clicking the Create New Template link in the bottom left. Alternatively, use an existing template as a starting point by clicking the template's Copy Template icon.
Create a new template (envelopes and labels) by first clicking the template's Create Personal Copy icon, and then making modifications to the copied template.
Link (a template) to a Contact for immediate mailout by clicking the Create for Contact icon. For more information, see "Performing a Mail Out for Letters, Envelopes and Labels" and "Composing a Mass Email Message".
Edit a template’s name (personal templates only) by clicking the Edit Template Name icon.
Delete a Template (personal templates only) by clicking the Delete Personal Template icon.
