Contacts Settings Overview

The Contacts Settings section is accessible within the Top Producer Settings, in the Contacts sub-tab.


Contacts Settings contains three sections: My Leads, Lead Alerts, and Tools.

My Leads


The Lead Provider Setup area will indicate if you have integrated Top Producer CRM with your® account. To add another lead provider, click Add Lead Provider, choose your provider, and enter the username and password for that service. For more information, read the Lead Provider Setup article. You can also review the list of Qualified Lead Providers to see if your provider is compatible with Top Producer CRM.

Note: To accept leads in Top Producer CRM, you will require a subscription to a 3rd party lead provider service. Some lead providers require additional configuration within their account before leads will be transmitted to Top Producer CRM. For more information, contact your lead provider.



Tools contains the option to check for duplicate contacts, and provides a link to the Top Producer Import Wizard. If Yes is selected for the Always Check for Duplicate Contacts? option, Top Producer will warn you when entering a contact with the same name of an existing contact, and provide options for what to do.

Important: Duplicate contact checking only applies when manually entering a contact within Top Producer. Importing contacts using the import wizard does not check for duplicates. To resolve any duplicate contact issues after an import, use the Merge Duplicate Contacts tool.

Lead Alerts


In the Lead Settings section you can enable lead alerts allowing you to be notified by phone or email when a lead is received in Top Producer CRM. For more information, see the Setting up Lead Alerts article.

Log in to manage Contact Settings.
