If you enable Contact Sync in Top Producer CRM, changes you make to your contacts in Outlook will appear in Top Producer CRM and vice versa. Before you enable this integration, you should back up your Outlook data first before installing and using Top Producer Outlook Sync.
For details on how to do this:
- Go to the How to manage .pst files in Microsoft Outlook article in the Microsoft help.
- To back up:
- Only specific data (for example, specific contact/calendar/email folders), follow the instructions in the “How to export .pst file data” section.
- All of your Outlook data, follow the instructions in the “How to make a backup copy of a .pst file” section.
Note: If you are using Outlook with a Microsoft Exchange Server, contact your administrator for details on backing up your data.
