Top Producer 8i Tip- Invite your 8i Contacts to your Facebook network

Grow your social network! Keep in touch with your Top Producer 8i contacts by inviting them to be a Friend on Facebook.

Follow these step-by-step instructions. (It only takes a few minutes!)

First, in Top Producer 8i:

1. In the main menu, go to Contacts and click search for contacts

2. Choose the criteria you would like to use to find the contacts

3. Once you have chosen the criteria to search for your contact click on search. If you don’t select anything in the search, this will show all your contacts
4. Check the contacts you would like to export and click Export Contacts

5. Next, choose the option ‘Selected contacts’
6. Choose ‘Contact record and all addresses and communications’. Click export, then save

9. Choose a file location to save the file to
10. Type a name for the file and click Save
Then, in Facebook:

1. Click on Friends
2. Click on Upload contact file
3. Check Upload a contact file
4. Click Browse
5. Highlight the file and click Open
6. This will display a list of friends you can invite. Follow the on screen instructions to finish inviting them

Note: Before you extend the invitation, you might want to review your Facebook profile and make sure that it is personable, but professional.
