So you’re armed with Market Snapshot and can’t wait to become the neighborhood expert. Let’s take a quick stroll down strategy lane so you can get the most out of this product, shall we?

Respond quickly to all leads—with the best content

Like it or not, we live in a world of instant gratification. Lead response time needs to be more than just fast—it needs to be almost immediate.* If you don’t respond in minutes, chances are, another agent will. And it’s not just the competition that makes lead response time so important—consumers expect it too.** The faster you respond, the more they feel you’re an expert.

Enough with the pressure already…

Okay, so canned responses turn them off. What will wow them? A professional, accurate and engaging snapshot of the area they’re interested in. Not only that, the minute a listing’s price changes or a new one comes on the market, an alert will be sent on your behalf. How’s that for instant gratification? (And you can sleep well knowing you’re providing the most up-to-date MLS data—not info based on public records or non-MLS data.)

A couple of stats not meant to stress you out in any way…

*The odds of contacting a lead increase by 100 X if attempted within five minutes versus 30 minutes.

** The NAR 2010 profile of homebuyers and sellers shows 93% of respondents said responsiveness was “very important” when selecting an agent.

Nurture past and present clients

Okay, so sending snapshots to leads makes sense, but many of your clients have already purchased a home or might be very early in the buying or selling process. Would snapshots help here? You bet! Stay top of mind by sending them a personalized snapshot and/or info on listings they may be interested in. When they’re ready to take the next step, they won’t search for listing information—they’ll turn to you!

Adding them to Market Snapshot is easy, and if you already have them in Google, it’s as simple as using Quick Snapshot to sign in to your Google account, but I digress… You can get the lowdown on this here.

Open house lead capture

When you have an open house, it’s essential to establish a compelling reason for a lead to contact you. Free with your Market Snapshot subscription, the Bright Open application eliminates the need for a (dusty, old) sign-in sheet. Instead, open house visitors can add their contact info to Bright Open, so you can later send them Market Snapshots on the local neighborhood. Guess who they’ll call for more info when they need it?

The best part? All of this requires very little effort from you. You’ll be amazed at how easy it is to get started. Check out this post for details.

Hello, I tried to find Edmonton, Alberta listed but could not. In fact, I did not see any Canadian cities. Is it safe to say then that this is not available in Canada? Please advise.

    Thank you.

Hi Brian, good news–Market Snapshot is most definitely available in many areas in Canada! The listing/sold alerts, however, are not currently available in Canada. I’ll have someone from our Customer Care team reach out to see if Market Snapshot is available for your MLS.

How do I get this app?

Just curious, I went to the link provided for the Bright Open site. I was unable to connect to the site as I did not see that you have my association listed. Is there a reason for this? Can we out here in Seattle not get Brite Open?
