I have yet to hear someone complain about turning the clocks back (what’s not to like about extra Zz’s and lighter mornings), but if you’re getting ready to send a daylight saving reminder, hold up a sec before you hit Send.
Your clients want to hear from you—there’s no denying that. The 2015 National Association of Realtors® Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers shows that 88% of buyers & 84% of sellers would recommend and use their agent again. The odds are in your favor, but there’s a fine line between keeping in touch and being, well, a bit spammy.

Joking aside, consider the goals of your follow-up to see if your daylight saving reminder fits the bill. You may find you’ll want to send something different this year.
I’d venture to say it’s time to put the daylight saving reminder out to (a lush, green) pasture. Stop competing with all the others who send these reminders. Instead, send something that will stand the test of time (pun intended)—a personalized, informative, all-around fabulous Market Snapshot.
The real beauty of the snapshot is it works with not only your current clients, but your past clients and sphere too. Don’t forget the secret recipe:Follow up, Market Snapshot, Real Estate Marketing
