4 simple ways to drum up business & the scripts to do it

It’s halfway through the year, and if you’re like most of us, it’s been a while since you’ve taken a peek at the goals you set in January. And now that the summer months are here, you may be tempted to ease off the gas a little. To help you to hit the accelerator instead, we invited Travis Robertson, a top real estate coach, to share how he’s helped thousands of agents reach their goals.

First things first, set a goal

Recognized by Inman as a top coach in the real estate industry, Travis knows a thing or 2 about setting goals. Here’s his recommended approach:

1. Write down how much you want to make – 250K or 75K? Whatever it is, write it down.

And remember, a great goal both excites you and scares you. If the number you write doesn’t, write a different one.

2. Ask yourself why you want to achieve that goal. Is it putting the kids through college so they can be debt-free, or aging parents or amazing vacations? Whatever drives you, write it down.

The strength of your why will determine the outcome.
