In real estate, defining the goals is the easy part: selling a certain
number of homes, making a certain amount of money, building your contact
database, and so on. The hard part is staying organized and focused on

TOP PRODUCER 7i's
Today's Business feature, linked directly to your Scheduler, Lead Manager,
contact records, and Listing and Closing files, is a powerful tool that
has helped many successful agents do just that. Today's Business provides
a numeric overview of your scheduled activities and Action Plan tasks
- leads, appointments, to-dos, calls, letters, emails, postcards, referrals,
listing and closing to-dos - for any date range you select. Additionally,
Today's Business also:
- Gives you instant
access to the activities themselves, letting you review their details
and mark them "done" when completed.
- Lets you print a daily, weekly or monthly report of all your activities.
- Lets you monitor all tasks you delegate to your assistants.
With all these features, Today's Business is like an
electronic assistant that reminds you of your potential tasks so you can
decide what's most important and design an agenda to maximize your productivity
and profits.
Instructions:
To access Today's
Business, please do the following:
- From the TOP PRODUCER 7i main menu, click Schedule, Today's
Business, then Summary.
To set up Today's Business so it automatically appears when you start
TOP PRODUCER 7i, please do the following:
- From the TOP PRODUCER
7i main menu, click Setup, Preferences, then General.
- In the Preferences window, under Auto display on start up,
select Today's business.
To adjust the Today's Business date range, please do the following:
- In the Today's
business window, click Date range.
- In the Enter date range message box, fill in the From
and to fields (or click the calendar icons
and select the desired range), then click OK.
- In the Today's business window, click Start search.
To view Today's Business by assignment, please do the following:
NOTE: By default,
Today's Business displays the registered agent's activities.
- In the Today's
business window, select the user (i.e. partner or assistant) in the
assigned to drop-down list box, then click
Start search.
To view a specific activity window, please do the following:
- In the Today's
business window, select the user and date range, then click the desired
activity category. The [Activity] assigned to [User] from [Date range]
window appears.
Depending on the activity
category you have selected, you can view, edit, mark "done,"
delete, print, email, view a report, or directly access an associated
contact record, listing file or closing file by clicking the corresponding
action menu item.

the Help menu in the program's main menu.
