Saving a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet to a CSV File

The steps below will guide you through saving a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet to a CSV file for import into Top Producer CRM.

  1. Open your contact list spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel.

  2. Click on the File tab, then select Save As.

  3. Under the Save as type menu, choose CSV (Comma delimited). Then click Save.

  4. In the warning box to confirm the save, click Yes.

These steps are fairly standard and will generally work in most other spreadsheet programs. If using an alternative spreadsheet program and these steps do not work for you, please consult your program’s documentation for further instructions.
