Saving the Top Producer Import Tool

Once you've completed the preparatory steps outlined in the “Top Producer Import Tool - Preparing to Import Your Data” article, the next step is to download the Top Producer Data Transfer Wizard to your desktop.

Download from Your Settings

1. Close all open applications and log in to Top Producer .
2. Click on the Account Menu in the top right corner of Top Producer and click Settings.
3. From the Contacts Setup subtab on the Contacts tab, click the Top Producer 8i Import Tool link.
4. A pop-up message opens asking you to download the program file. Click the OK button.
5. A File Download window opens. Click the Save button.
   
   
6. Save the TP Data Transfer.exe file to your desktop.
7. Click the Sign Out link at the top right corner of Top Producer to close the application.

Download from the Setup Wizard

1. From the Import Tools page, click the Top Producer 8i Import Tool link.
2. A pop-up message opens asking you to download the program file. Click the OK button and save the TP Data Transfer.exe file to your desktop.
3. A File Download window opens. Click the Save button.
4. Save the TP Data Transfer.exe file to your desktop.
   

   Note: If prompted, click OK to restart your computer.
