Saving the 6i Data Conversion Tool

Once you’ve completed the steps outlined in the article “6i Data Conversion Tool - Preparing for a Desktop Data Conversion”, the next step is to download the Data Conversion Tool to your desktop.

Download from Your Settings

1. Close all open applications and log in to Top Producer 8i.
2. Click on the Account Menu in the top right corner of 8i and click Settings.
3. From the Contacts Setup subtab on the Contacts tab, click the Top Producer 6i Data Conversion Tool link.
4. A pop-up message opens asking you to download the program. Click the OK button.
5. A File Download window opens. Click the Save button.
   
   
6. Save the TP Data conversion.exe file to your desktop.
7. Click the Sign Out link at the top right corner of 8i to close the application.

Download from the Setup Wizard

1. From the Import Tools page, click the Top Producer 6i Data Conversion Tool link.
2. A pop-up message opens asking you to download the program. Click the OK button and save the TP Data conversion.exe to your desktop.
3. A File Download window opens. Click the Save button.
4. Save the TP Data conversion.exefile to your desktop.

   Note: If prompted, click OK to restart your computer.
