Setting up Lead Alerts
As agents when you receive leads you want to make sure that you get in touch with them to start building that all important relationship. Knowing when a lead comes into your database, will give you that ability to reach out to those leads. In Top Producer you can setup Lead Alerts so you will notified when a new lead comes into your database. You can receive your lead alerts through a text message to your mobile device or to specified email address. This will allow you to respond within a reasonable time frame and make sure that lead doesn’t move on to another agent.
Important: Our Lead Alert feature is free, but you may be subject to a charge for text messaging depending on your mobile carrier. Check your plan.
To setup your Lead Alerts:
- Open the Top Producer Settings.
- Click on the Contacts tab.
- Click on the Lead Setup sub tab.
- Click in the Lead Alert section to enable edit mode.
- Set Enable Lead Alerts to Yes.
- If you would like to receive your lead alerts on your phone then select your Wireless Carrier from the drop down menu and enter in your Mobile Phone Number in the Receive Leads by phone section. To test to make sure you will receive the alerts on your phone, click the Send Test Message button.
- If you would like to receive your lead alerts by email then enter in your Email address in the Receive Leads by email section.
- Click Save Lead Alert.
Tip: If you would like your Lead Alerts to go to both your phone and an email address fill in both "Receive Leads by" sections mentioned in Step 5
In the top right corner, click on the Account Menu, then Settings.
