These Program Details pertain to the following TOP PRODUCER® certification program (the Program):
The TOP PRODUCER® Certified Professional program for Top Producer®
The Program Agreement, available as a separate document, which governs your participation in the Program, requires you to honor any additional duties or restrictions in these Program Details. Capitalized terms used in these Program Details have the meanings given them herein or, if none, in any other document comprising a part of the Program Agreement.

Eligibility Requirements
There are no strict pre-requisites for taking the Certified Professional examination, although candidates are expected to be very familiar with all aspects of the relevant TOP PRODUCER® application(s), including best practices, shortcuts, and how to use it/them most effectively.

Exam Information
You have up to ninety (90) days from the date you submitted your application to complete and pass the certification exam.

The certification examination is made up of a ninety (90) multiple-choice questions. The allotted time to complete the exam is ninety (90) consecutive minutes.
The exam is delivered through a computer based online testing system using a standard web browser. Information about how to get to the exam using your web browser will be included in the exam notification email sent to the email address you provide on your application form.
Exam questions are derived from internal and external training material used to train Top Producer software users. -

Exam Scoring
The passing score for the certification exam is determined from historical exam results and results of test exams taken by a sample of experienced TOP PRODUCER® support staff. What the Company determines constitutes a passing score might change with time and experience.
Company uses subject matter experts from within the TOP PRODUCER® support and training department to help establish a passing mark at which each candidate should pass the certification examination and the examination topics.
Data from the results of past exams will be analyzed from time to time to help ensure the passing mark is set appropriately.

Exam Retries
The certification exam can be written three (3) times (i.e., including two re-tries) within the 90 day eligibility window, which starts from the date of application acceptance and notification. The candidate will be notified via email when each exam is ready for them to take. At least five (5) business days must elapse between the taking of each exam retry and the previous try.
If you fail the third attempt you must re-apply to the program and for certification (e.g., send in another application package and payment) if you wish to continue to seek certification. Any such re-applications submitted sooner than within ninety
(90) days after your previous application was submitted will not be recognized.

Certification Fees (Program Fees)
The total cost of the certification examination and certification package is specified in the Application page. You must submit payment for the certification fee (i.e., the Program Fee) as part of the application process. You can submit payment by providing credit card details on the application form you fax or mail to our Certification Office.You will be emailed a payment receipt within three (3) days of the later of your submitting your application and our successfully debiting your credit card for the fee. The payment receipt will be sent to the email address you provide on the application form.

Refund Policy
When the Company notifies you it has received your Program Fee (e.g., confirms successful debit from your credit card), it will also provide you a copy of the main Program Agreement document and Usage Guidelines (but not your signed Application) that you agreed to when submitting your Application. On receiving such notification, if for any reason you do not wish to be bound by the Program Agreement you will be free to cancel your participation in the Program and receive a full refund of the Program Fee, so long as you cancel (by written notice to us) within thirty 30 days after the date you submitted your Application and provided you do not sooner commence any Program/Certification examination or testing. Otherwise, the Program Fee is non-refundable except insofar as the Program Agreement specifies differently.

Certification Expiry and Recertification
Certification begins when the Company grants you an award of such Certification (usually via email) and expires one calendar year (i.e., 365 days) thereafter.
To renew Certification beyond this date (assuming Company is then offering renewal) you must complete another certification application, pay any then-applicable re-Certification fee, pass the then-applicable certification exam and comply with such other renewal obligations (if any) as Company may then require.

Application Processing
Applications submitted to our Certification Office will be processed in a timely manner with an expected turnaround time under normal circumstances of approximately three (3) business days. After your application is processed you will receive an email detailing how to complete the examination/testing for certification.

Exam Confidentiality
The examination, answers, and any other exam related material remain the sole and exclusive property of Company. These materials are confidential and are not available for review by any person or agency for any reason.
Examination results are confidential and will not be disclosed to anyone without candidate consent. This does not limit Company’s rights, however, as per the Program Agreement, to respond to inquiries as to the Certification status of one or more program participants
If you would like your examination results to be released to a third party you must provide Company with a written request that identifies the details that the third-party person or organization should receive.
When you submit an application you agree to abide by the agreement terms governing Certification and participation in the Program (included with the application document – the Program Agreement).
Submitting your application includes an agreement by you not to discuss or disclose in any form the specific content of certification examination questions and answers to anyone.

Examination Results Notification & Score Report
Upon completion of the examination you will receive an email containing the following:- Your exam results (pass/fail)
- If you do not pass, information about when you can retry next
- If you pass, information about how to obtain access to the certification logo
- If you pass, an electronic copy of a certificate you can print
- If you pass, your name will be listed in the online TOP PRODUCER® Certification Registry – usually within five (5) business days of passing

Appeals Procedure
The certification program is administered by the Company’s Certification Office and all challenges to the certification program are also managed by the Certification Office. Applicants for certification, or certification holders, may submit a written request to the Certification Office for review and action. All decisions of our Certification Office are final, however, including any decisions resulting from such a review, or to decline to grant a review.

Use of Your Certification Credential
Once you receive a passing score on your certification exam you will be granted a certification credential. You may refer to yourself using the designated Program Mark(s) (which are specified in the Application) as long as you have an active certification status (Certification expires after one year/365 days) and as long as you follow the requirements in the Program Agreement (especially in the Usage Guidelines attachment to that agreement) regarding such use.

Certification Registry
If you pass a certification examination your name, region (city & state) and contact information are entered into the TOP PRODUCER® Certification registry. This registry is available from the Campus Website or on a sub-page thereof, and allows the general public to search for certified professionals and trainers in a particular region or by certification type. This feature allows verification of credential holders by employers, service purchasers and others.
If you wish to opt out of this registry please fax or email a request to our Certification Office.

Modifications of Program Details
The Company is free to modify these program policies, procedures and other details in its discretion, as provided for in the Program Agreement.

Note: In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Program Details on the one hand and, on the other, the other terms of the Program Agreement (including the Usage Guidelines and the Application), such other terms of the Program Agreement shall control. Capitalized terms used in these Program Details have the meanings given them herein or, if none, in any other document comprising a part of the Program Agreement.
