Top Producer for Windows Mobile Minimum Requirements

Ensure your handheld device is compatible with Top Producer for Windows Mobile.

- If the Windows Mobile device is not listed as a supported device, please contact Top Producer technical support at 1-800-830-8300 and press 3 on the phone menu for assistance.
Microsoft ActiveSync needs to be installed on the computer and able to successfully connect with the handheld.
- Click here for steps to check if the Windows Mobile device can successfully connect to the computer.
- If you require assistance connecting the handheld device with Microsoft ActiveSync / Windows Mobile Device Center, please contact your service provider.
The device must have one of the following operating systems:
- Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC
- Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC (Phone Edition)
- Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional

- Please note that Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone and Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard are not compatible.
Sufficient free space to install Top Producer for Windows Mobile and data.
- Handhelds with a Windows Mobile 5.0operating system require:
  - a minimum of 20MB of free storage space
  - a minimum of 20MB of free program space
- Handhelds with a Windows Mobile 6.0 Professionaloperating system require:
  - a minimum of 25MB of free storage space
  - a minimum of 25MB of free program space
- Click here for instructions to check the amount of free memory on the handheld device.
- The free space required will vary depending on the amount of data being transferred to the handheld device.
If you wish synchronize wirelessly, a data plan is required from your service provider. (An unlimited data plan is recommended)
A Top Producer for Windows Mobile mobility license.
A Top Producer 8i account (with contact information).
- If your Top Producer 8i account has recently been created and your contact database has not yet been imported, please wait until you have contacts in your 8i account prior to starting the Top Producer for Windows Mobile installation. For assistance in importing contact data into your Top Producer account please call Top Producer support at 1-800-830-8300 and press 1 on the phone menu.
