Setting up Palm:

Step 7 of 7 - Download Top Producer data to the handheld

Ensure the Palm and computer are connected via the USB cable and perform a Hotsync to transfer the Top Producer for Palm program.

Note: The first HotSync will only install the Top Producer for Palm program; it will not send any data.

Once the first HotSync completes successfully, perform a second HotSync. The second HotSync will transfer your Top Producer data to the handheld device (as illustrated below). Data transfer times will vary depending on the amount of data being transferred to the Palm.

Note: Depending on the size of the database being transferred to the handheld device, the second HotSync may take from several minutes to several hours to complete. Please do not stop or interrupt the HotSync process. If the HotSync process is interrupted for any reason, the entire setup process will need to be restarted. We recommend using a wired internet connection to avoid connectivity interruptions.

Important: Top Producer will become unavailable for all users within the account while the Palm is synchronizing.

Top Producer for Palm has been successfully installed.
