Note: Web lead forms are designed for external websites not otherwise compatible with Top Producer products. If you have a Top Producer Website and would like to configure lead forms, click here.
Web Lead Forms can be created in Top Producer 8i and added to a 3rd party website. A Web Lead Form is used to capture information from website visitors and automatically add their information to 8i as a new lead.
Each Web Lead Form can be assigned a unique Source and Sub Source which are automatically included in the 8i Lead Records. These will identify where the lead came from, which is especially important when you have leads coming from multiple sources.
To create a Web Lead Form, follow the below steps:
- Click Web Lead Forms in the Contacts pull down menu. This will display a list of any previously created web lead forms.
- Click Add Web Lead Form.
- In the Web Form Details section, select one of three preset layouts: Simple, Standard, or Detailed. You can preview a sample of each layout by clicking the preview icon
.
- Select a source from the Source pull down menu, or click Add to create a new source.
- Select a sub source from the Sub Source pull down menu, or click Add to create a new sub source.
- In the Agent Info & Photos section, use the Location of Agent Photo pull down menu to choose where your photo will appear on the form. The default photo in My Account will be selected automatically. If you would like to upload or select a different photo, click Update Photos in My Account.
- In the Colors & Font Styles section, choose No if you would like to customize the colors and fonts. Click the Select Color buttons to select from a color palette.
Tip: If you would like to select form colors that exactly match your website colors, enter the appropriate Color Value HEX Code into the field (for example FF0000 is Red). If you are not sure of your color codes, contact your website administrator.
- Click Preview Web Lead Form to open the form in a separate tab or window.
- Click Add Web Lead Form to save the form and return to the Web Lead Forms list.
Tip: It is recommended that you create a unique source for each website you own, and a unique sub source for each form you place on a website. For instance, the source could be www.myagentwebsite.com, and the sub source could be Featured Listings Page.
