Administering your LivePost Account

Once you begin using the system, from time to time, you may wish to add additional users to your master account, review recent activity or adjust your profile details.  You can login to your account by going to http://www.postnexus.com/livepost

Create additional Users for your Master Account

If you would like to create additional User Accounts select Master Account from the menu, followed by Account Users.  This will show a list of existing accounts tied to the Master Account.  Just under the list is an Add button to create additional users.  Fill out all required information and click the Add button on the bottom of the form.  Repeat for additional accounts.  The email address you enter for the new user will be the user name they use to log on to the website and verify installation of the print driver.

My Recent Activity

My Recent Activity will display a list of the print job activities sent to LivePost. It includes past print jobs and currently pending jobs.

The Status is displayed next to each activity:

  • Submitted – The document has been received by the server and is ready for the process to send to the proper queue, check the validity of the document, or send an email notification for proof availability.  Your document should be in submitted status for no longer than 10 minutes.
  • Waiting for Approval – The proofing option is enabled and the document is waiting for you to review it and choose to accept or reject.
  • Processing – The document has passed all checks and been approved (if proofing enabled) for print.  The document is awaiting the Print shop to download and print.
  • Queued at Print center – The document has been downloaded by the print center and only awaits printing and validation the print was correct.  When the Printer Operator selects success of printed job, it moves to final step of Printed and Mailed.
  • Printed and Mailed – The document has successfully printed and is being delivered to the post office.  When this status is achieved, the funds for the printing are withdrawn from the account.
  • Rejected by User – You have rejected the print job, most likely after the review of a proof. The other common step for achieving this status is if you have not approved a print job within the required time frame.
  • Rejected due to wrong address – The address on the document is invalid.
  • Rejected by System – Reasons for this rejection status include:  Insufficient funds, invalid document, the inability of the server to convert the document to a .pdf.  You will receive an email stating the reason for the rejection.  Some of the messages can be very technical in nature.  If you need help with understanding why your document was rejected, please call LivePost customer support at 817.424.3792.
