Setting Up LivePost
Top Producer LivePost is a powerful direct mail extension to Top Producer that is powered by our print fulfillment partner, PostNexus. Top Producer LivePost lets you professionally print postcards, and send them by US Postal service, from directly within Top Producer.
To get up and running with Top Producer LivePost, follow the steps below:
Create a New LivePost Account
You will need to create a new account before you can begin using the LivePost service. To create a new account go to www.postnexus.com/livepost and start by clicking next on the LivePost signup page. Follow the onscreen steps to create a new account.
Important: Be sure to record your account information, as it will be needed to validate your setup and to administer your account in the future.
Download and install the LivePost Print Driver
When printing LivePost postcards from Top Producer, instead of printing to your local printer you will be sending the printjob over the internet directly to LivePost. This is done with a Print Driver which must be installed on your computer.
In the menu at the top of the livepost screen, click Download LivePost Print Driver.
You will be provided three download options. The first option allows you to download the LivePost User Guide from Post Nexus. Click the second option: Download LivePost powered by PostNexus. At the prompt, click Run.
Note: The third link is only necessary if the LivePost installation requests .NET 2.0 be installed. Most of today’s Windows machines already have .NET 2.0 installed.
Follow the onscreen installation steps.
Validate your Top Producer LivePost Account
After the Print Driver has been installed, you will be automatically prompted to validate your LivePost Account. This establishes a connection between your Print Driver and your online LivePost account. Enter the email address and password you provided when creating your account, and click OK.
Once validated, the LivePost setup is complete.
