Creating an Advanced Market Snapshot

To narrow down your property search criteria, use the Advanced Market Snapshot Request window to include more information for the search. Using this, you have the option to see which properties appear from each search before generating the Market Snapshot. Note that only the search fields that are supported by your MLS are enabled.

Search Results

The results that match your search criteria are displayed on a map/listing page. This page allows you to confirm that the results meet your advanced search criteria. It does not represent the actual look of the Market Snapshot.

Note: This may be a lengthy process, depending on the number of listings that meet your criteria. You can return to the Control Panel or perform a different task while waiting for your list to be created. Alternatively, you may opt to Cancel this process.

If this search was created for a buyer, the map is centered on all the properties found. You can move the map around, zoom in/out, and move the Target Area pin.

Note: Only the properties from the initial search are displayed. If you move the pin to a location outside the search area, no new properties will be displayed.

If this search was created for an owner, the home address is used as the center point.

To create an advanced Market Snapshot:

  1. Open the Advanced Market Snapshot Request page. How?closetriangle.gif

  2. Complete the contact and MLS information as you would for a regular Snapshot request.

  3. In the Advanced Search area, enter any additional search criteria you have.

  4. (Optional) Click Display Results. Click Back to return to the previous Advanced Market Snapshot Request page.

  5. Click Generate Market Snapshot.

The Market Snapshot is generated and emailed to the customer at the email address provided. You will also receive a confirmation message.

Caution: If your MLS removed a field that was previously saved for a Market Snapshot, or if it added a new required field, then the Market Snapshot will be not be generated. You must modify the search criteria to include (or exclude) the field before you can regenerate.
