Newsletter Subscriber Statuses

Unless you have specified differently in your Newsletter preferences, contacts you invite to subscribe to the Newsletter must respond to the opt-in email to become subscribers. This requirement is in compliance with Anti-Spam laws and industry principles.

To track this, contacts are assigned one of the following statuses:

You can view contact/subscriber statuses in the Newsletter Subscriber Report.

You can choose to edit the content of the opt-in email and re-send it to customers that you added who have a status of Waiting. For more information, see "Customizing Newsletter Email Text".
