About Dynamic Text

Dynamic text enables words and phrases to be changed for each output. For example, dynamic phrases can be updated to reflect changes in key market data statistics. Information used in this text is based on changes in the market data over the last two years.

Once the text is generated, it can be used in snapshot displays, emails, blogs, special reports and Newsletters.

Two Sizes of Dynamic Text

A different amount of dynamic text is generated, depending on the output. The small amount is incorporated into the large amount. See the examples below. The dynamic text is shown in bold color:

Small

For use in the Market Data displays, this consists of one or two sentences. A simple comparison of the market condition for a single market data attribute:

This month's inventory is up 16% over last month and down 10% from 6 months ago, but close to the same as last year and 2 years ago.

Large

Dynamic text appears in the Market Update Newsletter, if applicable. Includes more dynamic text which is based on one or more market conditions.

This month's inventory is up 16% over last month and down 10% from 6 months ago, but close to the same as last year and 2 years ago.

There is over 8 months of inventory now. This makes it a Buyer’s market. What does this mean to you?...

This means if you want to buy a house, you have a lot of choice and the market could be very much in your favor.  But if you are trying to sell, it may mean you would need to list your house early to get a sale when you want it, and your Realtor may need to do a little more to get your house to stand out.

Note: The content varies depending on data type and market trends.
