Inserting Marketing Links

Marketing Links can be inserted into postcard, flyer and correspondence templates when editing a personal copy. Only those links already created, however, will be available to you when inserting them into a template.

Tip: Be careful to only insert links that will be valid over the longer term, as you might be using the template over several months or several years from the day you inserted the Marketing Link.

To insert a marketing link:

1. Open the Edit Personal Copy screen. How?

   1. From the Main Menu bar, click the Marketing icon.

   2. Click the [Template Type] Library link in the appropriate portlet.

   3. Select a personal category from the Show Category drop-down list.

   4. For flyers and postcards, hover your mouse over the template, and then click the Edit [Flyer/Postcard] link.

      For Letters/Email/Envelopes/Labels, click the name of the template.

2. Click the Insert Marketing Link action link in the bottom right corner. An in-line form appears at the bottom of the document.

3. Select the category and marketing link you wish to insert. If you want to preview the contents of the link prior to inserting it, click the Live Preview link.

4. Click the Insert Marketing Link button.

   The link is now inserted where the cursor was located. You can now select the link in the TP Editor and apply styling to it. At any time, you can click the Ctrl+click link to view it.
