  3. Optionally edit the following information:
    • Weblog title: Enter the name of your blog (limited to 60 characters). Most themes will display this title at the top of every page, and in the reader's browser titlebar. Your blog will also use this title as the identifying name for your Syndication feeds.
    • Tagline: Enter your blog's slogan or Tagline here (limited to 120 characters). A Tagline is a short phrase or sentence used to convey the essence of the weblog, and is often designed to be eyecatching. This will display right below the Weblog title in the blog header.
  4. Under Date and Time, optionally edit:
    • UTC time is: Displays the current UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). This field cannot be modified here.
    • Times in the weblog should differ by: Enter the number of hours by which your time differs from the displayed UTC time. This will ensure that your articles and weblog maintain and display the correct time. This is useful when you and your server are in different time zones. For example, if you were living in Tahiti, then you would enter "-10" in this field. You can use the Date and Time Gateway (http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/xtra/tzdate) to look up your offset from UTC.
  5. Under Syndication, optionally choose to:
    • Allow my blog to be syndicated: Leave this box checked if you appreciate having your blog posts uploaded to other websites. If you don't want your posts distributed to other websites, uncheck the box. You must be the blog owner to see this option.
  6. Under Top Producer® Websites / Featured Website™ Integration, optionally activate:
    • Open links to my posts: Select this option if you want readers to view your posts from other websites and RSS feeds in your Top Producer Website blog page, or Featured Website blog page. This still lets readers view the content while getting the complete picture of your business. This option is selected by default when your blog account is created. Posts on your standalone blog site will still be displayed on that site.
    • Website URL: Once you select Open links to my posts, a text box appears. Enter the Website URL where readers will see your posts. For example: www.mywebsite.com. This field is populated automatically when you add a blog to your Top Producer Website or Featured Website account. If you have a blog first, you must fill this field manually. Use the Check URL button to validate the URL you entered. Alternatively, you can enter your Website account username.

Note: This integration feature only works with Top Producer Website and Featured Website URLs.

  7. Under RSS Feed Configuration, enter the URL address of an RSS Feed that you'd like to include as part of your Blog. This can be an RSS Feed from one of your own websites, or any other site that provides a feed. Then select how many feed headlines you like to display.
  8. Click Update Options to save your changes.
