Setting Up Email
Top Producer 7i offers powerful email capabilities for communicating with clients and coworkers.
Before you can use the My Email feature in Top Producer 7i, you need to set up your email account. The Email Setup gives you the flexibility of choosing where to receive emails. Choose from one of three options:
- existing POP3 external account(s) – emails are routed to the Top Producer Email Manager, and can be checked via the Internet
- the @topproducer.com domain – create a Top Producer account
- your email program – do not have emails routed to Top Producer 7i

I Want To Set Up My Email To Receive Messages From My POP3 Accounts
- Select the I want to set up my Email to receive messages from my POP3 accounts option.
- Specify the following:
- POP3 server — type the name of the POP3 server.
- Port — type the port number, if required.
- Username — specify your username.
- Password — specify your password.
Note: If you do not have this information, please contact your email service provider. You can add this information later from the Accounts page. To learn more about adding account information later, see the Top Producer 7i User Guide.

- Move to folder — by default, email from your POP3 server is placed into the My email - Inbox. If you want your email to be placed into a different folder, select it from the drop-down list.
- Only get new mail — select this check box if you want to download only new email messages from the POP3 server.
- Leave mail on server — select this check box if you want to leave your email messages on the POP3 server after you have downloaded them.
- Click Next, The Setup wizard - Data transfer window opens.
I Want To Use My @topproducer.com Email Address
- Select the I want to use my @topproducer.com email address option.
- Specify a Username of your choice.
- Click Next, The Email setup dialog box opens confirming the successful set up of your new email address.
- Click OK. All outgoing email will appear in the recipient’s inbox with the email address [your username]@topproducer.com. If you want a different address to appear, change the email address in Agent setup.
- Click Next, The Setup wizard - Data transfer page opens.
I Do Not Want To Use The My Email Feature
- Select the I do not want to use the My email feature option. You will still be able to send flyers and other correspondence from Top Producer 7i and any outgoing email will display the email address you have specified in Agent setup.
Note: After specifying your email settings, you may update them at any time by accessing the Email Preferences page from the Email menu.
- Click Next, The Setup wizard - Data transfer page opens.
- If you have no data to convert, or don’t wish to set up data transfer at this time, click Close
- A pop-up widow will display:

- Click Yes to exit the setup wizard, or No to close the pop-window and return to the last viewed page.
