Unable To Login To Top Producer 7i Due To Pop-Up Blocker
Due to the way that Top Producer 7i functions, users of pop-up blocking software may find that they are unable to login. A pop-up blocker is most likely the problem if you are experiencing these issues:
- If you enter your Top Producer 7i Username and Password and click Login, the "Loading, Please Wait" window does not appear
- If the "Loading, Please Wait" window appears briefly and disappears, taking you back to the login screen
Please follow the steps below to fix the problem.
The Windows XP Pop-up Blocker / Internet Explorer 7
The first type of pop-up blocker that may be installed on your computer is a feature of Microsoft's Service Pack 2 for the Windows XP operating system. If your computer is using Windows XP, has been upgraded to Service Pack 2, and you see an information bar along the top of the screen like the one pictured below when you try to login, the Windows XP pop-up blocker is preventing your login.
Note: If you are unsure if your Windows XP computer has Service Pack 2 installed, click Start, right-click on the My Computer icon and then click Properties. (You can also access this information from the System icon within Control Panel). Note that a computer with Service Pack 2 installed will display the following information on the General tab of the System Properties window:

In order to allow Top Producer 7i to successfully login while still retaining the function of the Windows XP Service Pack 2 pop-up blocker, follow the steps below:
- Close all open Internet Explorer windows.
- Click the Start button, then point to Programs (All Programs in Windows XP).
- If you are using Windows XP, click the Control Panel icon. If you are using Windows 95/98/Me/2000, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Internet Options icon.
The Internet Properties window opens.
- Click on the Privacy tab. Look for the Pop-up blocker section at the bottom of the window. Click the Settings button.
- The Pop-up Blocker Settings window displays:

- Type www.topproduceronline.com into the Address of Web site to allow text box and click Add. Ensure that www.topproduceronline.com now appears in the Allowed sites text box.
- Click Close on the Pop-up Blocker Settings window and then click OK on the Internet Properties window. Log into Top Producer 7i to ensure that the issue is resolved.

Other Pop-up Blockers
Due to the wide variety of pop-up blocking software that is available today, it is impossible to provide specific steps to configure every one to allow Top Producer 7i to open properly. New pop-up blockers are made available on an almost daily basis, and it is quite possible to have pop-up blocking software installed on your computer without your knowledge. Other programs, such as Internet toolbars, anti-virus or spyware removal programs may automatically install pop-up blocker software on your computer.
If you are aware of such a program on your computer, consult any help menus or documentation that came with the software for instructions on how to create exceptions for the Top Producer 7i website. Most pop-up blockers include the capability to enter websites addresses for which you wish to allow pop-ups. In this case, you must configure the pop-up blocker to allow pop-ups from www.topproduceronline.com.
If reconfiguring your pop-up blocker is not possible, try holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard when you click Login on the Top Producer 7i login page. In many cases, this will bypass a pop-up blocking program.
In the event that none of the above steps allow you to login to Top Producer 7i successfully, please contact our Top Producer Technical Support Department.
