What are the advantages to using Top Producer 7i SellPhone?

Top Producer SellPhone gives you wireless, real time access to your Internet leads, contact information, schedule, call reminders, listing and closing data. It lets you send and receive email. And it works with any Internet WAP compatible digital phone.

How do I login to Top Producer 7i SellPhone?
  1. Connect to the wireless Internet using your phone's micro browser. Refer to your phone guide for instructions on how to do this.
  2. Go to https://tpsellphone.com using your phone's micro browser (or go to the SellPhone bookmark if you have already set this up). The Enter username screen will appear.
  3. If you have not already done so, bookmark the Enter username screen so you do not have to enter the SellPhone web address every time you log on. The next time you want to log on, go directly to the SellPhone bookmark without having to enter the SellPhone web address in your browser.
  4. Enter your Top Producer 7i username and select Next.
  5. Enter your password and select Logon. Once your login data has been sent to the server, the main Top Producer 7i SellPhone menu will appear and you can begin using the program.

What username and password do I login with?

You can login to Top Producer 7i SellPhone using any of the following options: your Top Producer 7i username, username and password, or with neither your username or password.

Login preferences for Top Producer 7i SellPhone are found in Top Producer 7i by pointing to Setup, then Preferences, then clicking SellPhone.

How do I control what information is displayed in Top Producer 7i SellPhone?

You can customize what information will be displayed in Top Producer 7i SellPhone via the Top Producer 7i SellPhone preferences window in Top Producer 7i.

  1. Login to Top Producer 7i.
  2. Point to Setup, Preferences, and then click SellPhone.
  3. Below are brief descriptions of the preferences you can adjust:
  • Phone numbers - allows you to change dialing preferences, so that you can dial the numbers exactly as they are stored in your database, or dial using local area codes
  • Contacts - affects the way contacts are displayed in the lists and in the Details screen
  • Lead alerts - configure SellPhone to alert you when a lead is received in Top Producer 7i
  • Activities - determines the way your phone displays Today's business items.
  • Display in lists & Week view - allows you to change how activities are displayed in lists and in Week view
  • Email - allows you to configure Email preferences; configure your email so that it is always delivered to the contacts primary, or choose either the primary or secondary email address; configure Quick subjects and Quick messages so that you can send and reply to email with a brief pre-written message or subject.
  • Listings & Closings - allows you to determine the display format of listings, and sort order of listings and closings.

Can I create a lead in Top Producer 7i SellPhone??

No. However, the Leads feature in Top Producer 7i SellPhone allows you to search for, view, follow up, email, or call a Lead. With Top Producer 7i SellPhone, you'll have access to your leads the instant they become available in Top Producer 7i.

Leads can be generated automatically, or entered manually in Top Producer 7i. However, to take full advantage of your leads you should:

  • set up Top Producer 7i to automatically download leads from your i-LEAD Web site, or from your own Lead Inquiry Form.
  • set up the "Lead Alert Notification" feature in Top Producer 7i SellPhone to automatically alert you when a lead becomes available in Top Producer 7i.

Is there a limit to the size of message I can email?

Top Producer 7i SellPhone is limited to editing email message sizes of up to 256 characters. If you try to edit a message that is longer than 256 characters, a warning message will alert you that the length of the message is too large to edit.

If you take an action that will result in a message size of greater than 256 characters (such as inserting a quick message or signature, or saving a large reply or forward message to the drafts folder), a warning message will alert you that you will not be able to edit the message body on the phone. Select YES to continue with the action, NO to return to the previous screen.

How do I check my email?
  1. Select Email from the main menu to display the Email menu.
  2. Select Inbox.
  3. Select a message.
  4. Selecting More will display options for replying to the message, forwarding or deleting it, moving it to another folder, or linking contacts to it.

How can another person login to Top Producer 7i SellPhone using my phone?

Another agent or assistant can use your phone to logon to Top Producer 7i SellPhone using their own username. The "Authentication rule" setting governs how you log into Top Producer SellPhone. The steps below show you how to configure the authentication rule when more than one user needs to logon using the same cellular phone. For more details on customizing your logon, please refer to "Authentication rule" in the section "Customizing Top Producer SellPhone Preferences" of the Top Producer SellPhone User Guide, found here.

  1. Log on to Top Producer 7i: using a web browser, go to https://www.topproduceronline.com and log in using your username and password.
  2. Once you have logged into Top Producer 7i, select Setup, Preferences, Top Producer SellPhone.
  3. From the Authentication rule drop-down list, select Require username and password. Please note that you must enter your username and password every time you log into Top Producer SellPhone. This setting provides maximum security.
  4. Once you have finished changing your settings, select OK to save and quit setup.

What are the minimum requirements to use Top Producer 7i SellPhone?

To use Top Producer 7i SellPhone:

  • You will need a WAP-enabled mobile phone
  • Your cellular provider must support a wireless Internet connection
  • You may need to sign up for an Internet cellular account

Please contact your cellular provider for information on Internet-enabled mobile phones and Internet cellular accounts.Your cellular provider may charge you whenever you are logged into the Internet with your phone's web browser. After logging out of Top Producer SellPhone, make sure you also close the web browser to avoid unnecessary cellular charges. Your cellular provider may also have specific charges for wireless Internet usage; please contact your provider for information on billing.
