  1. Where is Top Producer located? Top Producer is located in Richmond, a suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We’re located in the Airport Executive Business Park with convenient access to shopping, restaurants, and public transportation.   6. Who are Top Producer’s customers?Our software products assist real estate agents with their day-to-day tasks and with taking their business to the next level. Top Producer products are used by real estate agents, brokers, and companies across Canada and the United States. We also have international customers in countries such as Australia, South Africa, and Germany.

  7. Who are your main competitors and how does Top Producer differ from them?Top Producer has been the leading software company in the real estate market for several years. Some applications can be considered competition, yet they don’t compete with us in the same space. Microsoft Outlook was a key competitor for years. Our recent release of the popular Outlook Connector (leveraging an agent’s Outlook contacts in Top Producer 8i) has, however, significantly reduced their challenge. Other real estate solutions exist in the market, but no one has come close to the functionality of Top Producer 8i.

    Top Producer products are designed by entrepreneurs who were real estate agents. They understand the market and its customers. We pride ourselves in designing applications and connectivity to meet the latest industry demands, by listening closely to our customers’ feedback.

What marketing channels are being used?Top Producer markets in a variety of ways including product brochures, mail-outs, website and email marketing, magazine and print ads, industry trade shows, and in-person office visits. These efforts drive business to different sales areas of our company including Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Independent Agents and our on-line store.

  9. How has the company grown? In past years we have grown very quickly - in excess of 30% annualized. More recently, the rate of growth has declined but remains positive despite the economic downturn in the US.

  11. What compensation does Top Producer offer?At Top Producer, we believe that employees should be fairly compensated for their work. We offer a competitive salary commensurate with the individual’s experience.

  12. What benefits does Top Producer offer?Our compensation package includes:

    • MSP (BC Medical Services Plan), plus extended health and dental for all employees who satisfy the MSP BC residency requirement. All premiums are paid by the company.
    • Life insurance is provided for all employees and their spouses. Additional insurance is provided for employees only.
    • An optional matched Group RRSP, managed by Standard Life Assurance.
    • Tax-free savings accounts available through payroll deductions.
    • After one month, all employees are entitled to their birthday off with pay.
    • Subsidy for the Steve Nash Sports Club next door.
    • An annual vacation entitlement of 2-3 weeks, depending on position.

  13. Does Top Producer have a Tuition Reimbursement Program?Yes, all regular full-time employees are eligible for up to $2,500/calendar year in tuition reimbursement. Tuition, registration, books and lab fees may be reimbursed upon successful completion of a pre-approved course. The intent of this program is to encourage employees to pursue courses of education that will advance both their careers and their professional contributions to the Company.

  14. What professional development does Top Producer offer?Top Producer provides training and encourages continuing education and career development for all employees. We offer in-house seminars and subsidize participation in industry conferences and technical training courses, as appropriate.

  15. Does Top Producer pay for professional association fees?Yes. If approved by a manager as being relevant to the employee’s position.

  16. Does Top Producer provide parking for employees?Yes. Employees may request a space when they join the company. If a space is not immediately available, the employee’s name is added to the waiting list.

  17. Do you have a Social Committee?Yes. We have an Events Committee that organizes many company-sponsored social events through the year such as contests, barbeques, white-water rafting, golf tournaments, and of course our annual Summer Picnic and Year End Holiday Party.
